The objectives for which the corporation is established is to assist in the relief of poverty, sickness, destitution, helplessness, distress, suffering and misfortune among the Dunghutti people.


  • Perform the prescribed functions of a registered native title body corporate under the Native Title Act 1993
  • To coordinate the native title claims of the Dunghutti people in relation to native title claims;
  • To liaise with neighbouring groups of Aboriginal people in relation to native title claims;
  • To advance the education, health, welfare and self-determination of the Dunghutti people in any manner agreed by the members

  • Collaborative research with other Dunghutti organisations (cultural, social, environmental and economic).
